Barbara Tapley loves our sweet Brevard, having relocated from the Midwest 17 years ago.  A resident of Straus Park along with husband Gordon, it’s the four mild seasons, the abundance of sunshine, and the easy-going, friendly, happy lifestyle that makes this area so special to them.  An avid hiker, golfer, and bridge player, she also enjoys cooking, entertaining, and travel.

Sales, marketing, analytical, and communication skills have been important in every one of her jobs and continue to serve her real estate clients well.  Early career experiences were as a Legislative Aide to a U.S. Senator and a State Governor, advising on pending legislation, speech writing, and public relations.  During 25 years in the Chicago suburbs raising a family, she had a high-end travel business specializing in adventure and luxury travel before becoming a Realtor there as well.

Active in Straus Park as a member of the architectural review committee, and active throughout the community in various capacities, Barbara is happy to share her enthusiasms for Brevard and beyond.
